(Nov. 18, 2015) – One of the hottest items this holiday season?

Sweet potato pies sold at Walmart endorsed by singer Patti LaBelle. Walmart has been struggling to keep up with demand.

The reason?

Singer James Wright posted an amusing review of the pie that’s racked up millions of views. Now, Walmart’s having a hard time keeping up with demand!

The pies, which retail for about $3.50, are going for many times that on the secondhand market. An eBay search shows the pies selling for as much as $45! LaBelle reached out to Wright to thank him for his video.
