Man shot in knee during overnight robbery in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 21, 2015) — A suspect is being sought in an overnight robbery that resulted in one man getting shot in the knee.

According to Indianapolis Metro Police, the suspect robbed two men at gun point in the 1300 block of North Parker Avenue on the northeast side of Indianapolis. This happened just after midnight. The suspect shot one man above the knee, then proceeded to take both victims’ wallets and cell phones before fleeing the scene.

When officers arrived, the man shot was taken to Methodist hospital in good condition.  Officers are currently looking for the suspect. Anyone with information is urged to call IMPD.
