INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 26, 2015) – Some stores are packed today with last minute Thanksgiving shoppers and extra early “Black Friday” shoppers.

At the Meijer store in Southport, some people secured their place in line at 10 p.m. Wednesday for the deals Thursday morning. Those shoppers camped out to get a 49-inch TV for $169 dollars.

The National Retail Federation expects about 136 million people will be out and about Thursday through Sunday -- that number is up by about two million shoppers compared to last year.

Managers at the Southport Meijer say they’re expecting another round of overnight lines after people eat their Thanksgiving meal today.

“There’s going to be an emphasis more on the toys, you’ll see a lot of Star Wars toys and things like that – that’s going to be the big toy this year, it’ll beat out Legos, Barbie – this year it’s Star Wars,” said Southport Meijer Store Director Dave Poletti.
