David Letterman to donate Emmys, memorabilia, ‘Late Show’ set to Ball State University

MUNCIE, Ind. (Nov. 30, 2015)-- Former "Late Show" host and Ball State University alumnus David Letterman returned to Indiana to speak at his alma mater.

Letterman revealed a generous donation to the university. He says he'll be giving all his "Late Show" honors and memorabilia, including his Emmys and show set to Ball State. The collection will become part of the Letterman building and the "Dave Letterman Experience."

Letterman hosted a discussion with two of the nation's top, young film makers: Spike Jonze and Bennett Miller.

Jonze is known for movies "Her" and "Where the Wild Things Are." Miller directed "Moneyball" and "Capote."
