INDIANAPOLIS (November 30, 2015) – Three suspects are in custody after a robbery and police chase early Monday morning.

Lawrence police say an officer attempted to stop a vehicle following an armed robbery at a McDonald’s near 79th Street and Fall Creek Parkway.

According to police, the suspect vehicle failed to yield and led officers on a chase before crashing into a utility pole near the intersection of 46th Street and Franklin Road in Lawrence.

Lawrence police says 2 suspects were ejected from the vehicle during the crash, and the driver was trapped inside. Police say the driver had a cash register on his lap buckled in with him at the time of the crash.

Police say all three suspects were taken into custody by police and are being treated for injuries at Eskenazi.
