(Dec. 9, 2015) -- Winter weather poses challenges to all of us, but those who struggle with Alzheimer's disease face some of the biggest challenges.

In this week's Angela Answers presented by American Senior Communities, Ray Cortopassi talks to Janean Kinzie, a memory care specialist, to discuss some of the most significant dangers, including:

  • Wandering in the cold
  • Forgetting to set thermostat
  • Leaving stove turned on
  • Not eating enough
  • Dangerous use of space heaters
  • Slipping/falling on ice
