INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 16, 2015)– A Carmel teaching assistant who was arrested in Spain earlier this year is back in the United States.

In March, Brett Wright was arrested in Madrid for assaulting police officers.

He said he thought he was being mugged, but later found out the men were police officers in plain clothes.

He spent five weeks in prison before he was released on bond. The case has now been settled.

Wright posted photos of himself with his passport on Facebook before flying to Chicago.
