INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 16, 2015) – Dozens of area kids were treated to a day of shopping and holiday cheer with Indianapolis Metro Police officers Wednesday.

The “Clothe-A-Child” event is a long-standing tradition for IMPD.  Officers choose kids in need from their districts to participate in the fun-filled activities.

Forty-nine children  enjoyed breakfast at Hubler Chevrolet before departing in a caravan of police cruisers to the Greenwood Park Mall.

Donations from Hubler Chevrolet and other community partners make the shopping event possible.

After hitting the stores, the children and officers will return to the car dealership for lunch and time with Santa.
