Police searching for missing 71-year-old man with possible dementia

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 16, 2015)– Police are searching for a missing man who may suffer from undiagnosed dementia.

On December 11, a family member of Herbert Johnson, 71, reported him missing.

Officers learned that Johnson had been at IU Methodist Hospital on December 10 and was discharged the same day. Investigators believe Johnson may suffer from undiagnosed dementia. He also suffers from blackouts and seizures.

Johnson is described as 5’4″, 130 lbs with gray hair. He has brown eyes and a prosthetic left eye.

Anyone with information on Johnson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
