(December 18, 2015) – A soldier from Utah returned home from a 10-month deployment overseas just in time for Christmas, and he surprised his children in the best way!

According to Riverview Elementary’s PTA, Santa walked into the school during an assembly. But it wasn’t actually Santa; it was Staff Sergeant Lambert! Lambert called out the names of his children from the crowd, and he shed his disguise.

His son jumped and hugged him, and the rest of the student population gave the Lambert family a standing ovation!
