INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 21, 2015) – A manager at an Indianapolis McDonald’s restaurant was assaulted by an angry customer with a Christmas tree.

Police were called to the McDonald’s at 2830 Madison Avenue around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday.

The manager told police she was attempting to assist an upset customer when the customer became irate.

The manager said she refunded the customer’s money, and the money was on the counter in front of the customer.

The customer then threw two small ornamental Christmas trees at the manager, and one of the trees hit her in the face.

The suspect proceeded to throw sugar packets at the manager before fleeing.

At this point in time, the angry customer has not been identified.
