Blind dog named Christmas rescued after trapped in well for weeks

HOLDEN, Mass. (December 22, 2015) – After weeks of living alone in a well, a blind dog has been rescued, and it was all caught on camera.

According to The Great Animal Rescue Chase & Harmony Fund, Fahrudin Caki Bravo and his buddy Ratko Koblar drove for hours without stopping when they learned that a blind dog had been trapped in an open well for an entire month. The elderly dog had been searching food when he fell threw the earth. Children from the area kept the dog alive by throwing food to the bottom of the 28-feet deep well, but no one attempted to save the dog.

In an emotional video, Bravo and Koblar were able to rescue the dog in just a few minutes.

The rescuers named the dog Christmas, and he is currently living with a foster family until her finds a permanent home.
