IMPD needs the public’s assistance locating a jolly fella!

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (December 24, 2015)  – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are looking for information on the whereabouts of a subject described as a jolly fella.  Officers have been tracking the movements of a subject described as being 6 foot tall, rather round belly, dressed in a red suit with a large black belt, wearing black boots, and having a full white beard and mustache.  He is known to spread joy and happiness to many children around the world and is believed to be heading to the Indianapolis community.

IMPD is asking anyone recognizing the subject to call 1.877.HI.NORAD – (1-877-446-6723)

The subject is believed to riding in a sleigh being pulled by 9 reindeer thought to be named, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph (A.K.A. the red-nosed reindeer).  Eyewitnesses recall seeing a big bag of toys inside the sleigh that appeared to be almost falling out.

Officials in Marion County have enlisted the help of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to help track the subject’s movements into Marion County.  Officers believe the subject goes by the name of Santa Clause or Saint Nicholas. Anyone with information is asked to call 1.877.HI.NORAD or click on the following link, http://www.noradsanta.org/.
