Police seek bank robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 2, 2016)–Metro police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a west side bank robbery Saturday morning.

Shortly after 10 a.m. police were called to the 4000 block of West 10th Street on a report of a robbery at Credit Union 1.

Witnesses told police a man entered the bank and demanded money from a teller.

The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses described the man as a black male, 6 foot tall, 150 pounds, 25 to 30 years old, wearing sunglasses, dark clothing, and a dark colored winter hat.
