INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 8, 2016)–  A woman living without heat for days got a big surprise from a local business.

Maria Christina Amorim said she’s been living in a cold house for two weeks after her furnace went out.

“It’s just terrible,” said Amorim. “I’ve been freaking out, been very upset, crying, mad, and you name it. And I pray to God and hoping that something happen.”

Something did happen.

Williams Comfort Air heard her story and stepped up. They sent a technician to her home on Friday to take a look at her furnace.

They will be fixing the furnace for free.

Amorim can’t thank them enough.

“That’s something that I didn’t expect at all,” she said through her tears. “I would try to pay them something at least. I will.”
