Happy Friday! It is another wonderfully mild and great start to the day with temperatures still in the 40s! Clouds and breezy southerly winds overnight helped to hold our temperatures up.
Southerly winds will remain breezy through the day in advance of a cold front that will move through later this evening. Temperatures won't vary much today holding steady in the lower 40s.
Rain showers will begin to move into the area around the lunch hour and continue through the evening hours. You will want to keep the umbrellas handy as it will be a soggy day.
Behind the front colder air will settle in late this evening changing rain over to light snow. Some flurries will linger into Saturday morning. Saturday will be a cloudy and chilly day with highs near 32º. On Sunday another blast of arctic air moves in dropping our temperatures into the single digits by the afternoon.
Monday morning many locations will see subzero temperatures and it feel close to -15º due to the winds! Relief arrives midweek with highs back near seasonal averages in the low to mid 30s.
