INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 20, 2016) — The Colts have found their new defensive backs coach. Greg Williams will replace Mike Gillhamer, who was let go on January 6.

Williams comes to Indianapolis from San Diego, where he spent the last seven seasons.  His first four years with the Chargers were spent as an assistant linebackers coach while his last three came as an assistant defensive backs coach.

As a player, Williams was a wide receiver and defensive back at North Carolina from 1994-97.  He went to training camp with the Bears and Giants before playing in NFL Europe, the XFL and the Arena League.
