Temperatures will continue to climb as a warm front lifts through the area tonight. Winds will gust to 30 mph overnight. Expect Tuesday's high temperature to be reached around midnight in the low to mid-40s. The cold front will move into Indy around 2 a.m. and temperatures will continue to dip to freezing by daybreak Tuesday. Wind chills will be in the low 20s as winds gust to 25 mph on Tuesday.
Spotty showers will be with us Monday evening as well so if you're heading out, have the umbrella. Rainfall amounts will be light and range from a couple hundredths of an inch to 0.10 inches through Monday night.
As colder air moves through, there will be a chance of snow early Tuesday morning. Some flurries or light snow is also possible through Tuesday afternoon. Little to no snow accumulation is expected in Indianapolis although some locations up north may see a dusting.
Temperatures will be in the low 30s for highs on Wednesday with flurries or light snow possible Thursday, especially to the north of Indianapolis. We'll reach a high temperature of near 50 degrees on Saturday. It will feel more like March! Rain chances will once again arrive next Sunday and Monday. --Danielle Dozier
