‘Serial robber’ sought after series of east side Indianapolis thefts

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 2, 2016) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are trying to track down a man they’re calling a serial robber.

According to IMPD, the man has robbed several businesses on the east side of Indianapolis. He’s about 5’6”, 150-160 lbs. and in his late 20s to early 30s. Police released images of the man captured on surveillance video.

The man is believed to be responsible for three robberies in Indianapolis:

  • January 13, 2016 – 2211 Prospect Street – Family Dollar
  • January 19, 2016 – 8940 E. 38th Street – Subway
  • January 24, 2016 – 1590 N. Post Road – Speedway Gas Station

IMPD said the same suspect may also be responsible for a robbery in Cumberland.
