Driver critically injured in overnight crash in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 7, 2016) — Metro police are investigating a two-car crash on the north side of Indianapolis.

The crash left one person critically injured.

IMPD says around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, two cars wrecked at the intersection of Meridian Street and Kessler Boulevard. One driver was critically injured and transported to the hospital. The other driver was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

IMPD suspects alcohol played a role in the crash.
