HENRY COUNTY, Ind. (February 9, 2016) – A Henry County man was arrested after police say he crashed his car while driving drunk and then urinated on a squad car.

According to a report from the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, Dallas Harris, 50, of Lewisville drove his truck into a ditch in the 6000 block of W. U.S. Hwy. 40 in Knightstown on Friday.

A deputy responded to the scene and noticed that Harris smelled like alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. Harris failed several sobriety tests and admitted to drinking a few beers, according to the report.

Harris then allegedly told the deputy he needed to use the restroom. The deputy told Harris he would have to wait. Harris proceeded to urinate on a Knightstown squad car, and he continued urinating after the deputy asked him to stop.

The deputy took Harris to Henry County Hospital for a blood draw, and according to the report it took four officers to hold him down to get a sample.

He was then taken to the Henry County Jail where he later posted bond.

Harris faces preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication, public nudity, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
