Bitter-cold trend continues with more snow on Friday

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 10, 2016)--Good Wednesday afternoon! We started the day with light snow and have had a mix of sunshine and flurries today. Temperatures were only in the teens at the 2 p.m. hour.

Local Current Temperatures

Expect a chance of flurries through about midnight then the sky will gradually clear by daybreak Thursday.

RPM 4 km Precip Type

Temperatures will start in the single digits with wind chills in the single digits as well on Thursday. Expect highs in the low 20s with a mostly sunny sky. Wind chills will be in the teens in the afternoon.

Meteogram Wind Chill

Snow will once again arrive Friday morning and continue through the day as another clipper system moves through the area.

RPM 4 km Precip Type

The weekend will be cold with highs in the teens on Saturday and low 20s on Sunday. Sunday evening will bring another chance of snow with rising temperatures. If you're heading out for Valentine's Day plan on the coats.  Snow will stick around Monday with highs in the mid-30s. --Danielle Dozier
