Police: Several suspects caught after east side home invasion robbery; 2 children in home during crime

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 18, 2016) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police said they've apprehended several suspects following a home invasion robbery on the east side of Indianapolis.

It happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of West Arlington Court. Four suspects left the scene, police said. One adult and two children were inside the home; one of the children was hit by a TV and was checked out by medics.

The suspects stole three televisions and cash. Police said the suspects and victims appeared to be acquainted and believe they know who was responsible based on accounts from witnesses.

IMPD later said officers had apprehended several suspects and recovered guns connected to the crime. The arrests were made at 1113 North Keystone, police said.
