School bus catches fire on south side, no students hurt

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 18, 2016) – No students were hurt after a school bus caught fire on the south side of Indianapolis Thursday morning.

The Perry Township bus caught fire around 6:20 a.m. near Mt. Vernon Drive and East Thompson Road.

The problem appeared to be electrical in nature. The students were waiting on a separate bus to pick them up and take them to school.
