Hamilton Co. firefighters battle large house fire in Sheridan

SHERIDAN, Ind. (February 22, 2016) – Hamilton County firefighters are on the scene of a large house fire in Sheridan.

Fire crews responded to a call about a fire in the 1700 block of West 246th Street in Sheridan around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

When they arrived on scene, crews say they found a house fully engulfed in flames.

According to firefighters on scene, the homeowner is currently out of town.

At this point, officials are not sure what started the fire. However, no injuries have been reported.
