(February 28, 2016) – JetBlue recently offered 150 passengers on a plane a free round-trip ticket to anywhere in the world, but there was one catch – everyone had to unanimously decide on the destination!

The airline company gave each passenger a paddle for voting. The passengers first decided whether the destination should be domestic or international. Once they all unanimously decided on international, they had to vote on the final destination.

The promotion was called “Reach Across the Aisle,” and JetBlue says they made the video to show that even with varying political views, there are still some things in life everyone can agree on!

“From the capital to the campaign trail, political partisanship and a contentious election make disagreement feel like the new normal. It is clear that the country is divided. Or is it? Can compromises be made for the greater good? See what happens when unsuspecting JetBlue customers are tasked with putting aside personal differences to reach across the aisle.”
