Armed suspects pistol whip manager during armed robbery at south side KFC

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 29, 2016) – Three armed suspects robbed an Indianapolis KFC at gunpoint Sunday night, striking an employee in the back of the head with a gun.

The robbery happened around 8:20 p.m. at the KFC located at 903 E. Hanna Ave. Three men entered the store; one wore a camouflage jacket while the others wore black hoodies. Three employees and a witness were inside at the time, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department incident report.

The manager of the KFC said she was pistol-whipped in the back of the head during the robbery. Police didn’t say what the thieves got away with.
