HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. - The Boys and Girls Club of Noblesville is looking for donations to pay for a $6 million expansion that aims to help serve a growing number of members.

In the past five years, membership has grown by 22 percent from 1,870 kids to 2,280. On top of that, the current building is more than a century old.

The new facility will be attached to the current community center on N. 17th street. The total area would span seven acres and offer some much-needed green space.

The Boys and Girls Club has been fundraising for nearly a year and has already raised $4 million.

“We’ll be able to serve more kids and do more activities, have more partners come in and provide additional activities and programs as well,” said Executive Director Becky Terry. “Our kids deserve a space that’s updated and worthy of them.”

Construction is expected to begin in 2017. You can donate by mailing a check to the Boys and Girls Club administrative offices at 1448 Conner St, Noblesville, IN 46060 or by calling (317) 773-4372.
