LAWRENCE, Ind. (March 5, 2016) — A serious crash overnight in Lawrence sends 3 people to the hospital.

According to the Lawrence Fire Department, a truck crashed into two mobile homes near Pendleton Pike and 52nd Street.

A 21-year-old was behind the wheel, and the passengers were 14 and 15-years-old.

All three were taken to the hospital with injuries, but they are expected to survive, said Lawrence Fire Department Public Information Officer, Dino Batalis.

One person was inside their mobile home when it was hit. Batalis said that person sustained minor injuries and is staying with relatives for the time being. The homeowners of the other mobile home weren’t home at the time of the crash. They arrived on scene afterwards.

Authorities believe alcohol could’ve played a factor in the crash.
