IUPUI students raise $140K for Riley Children’s Hospital
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 6, 2016) — IUPUI’s Dance Marathon, Jagathon, benefiting Riley Children’s Hospital shattered its previous record, raising more than $140,000 in donations.
The dance marathon ran from 2 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m Sunday. During that time, students danced the night away and took part in a variety of activities including the Red Bull Run.
This year, all the funds raised will go towards Riley’s pediatric research.
Students involved in Riley Children’s Hospital Dance Marathon collect donations year-round. Dance marathons like this one happen all across the nation.
