Pacers top Spurs 99-91
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 7, 2016) – Monta Ellis scored 26 points, 21 of them coming in the second half, as the Pacers held off a late rally from the Spurs and earned a 99-91 win, Monday evening at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Paul George chipped in 23 points in the win, and with 15.7 seconds left to play, drew a foul on Kawhi Leonard in transition while completing a three-point play, which essentially sealed Indiana’s win. The performance is a far cry from PG-13’s showing against the Spurs earlier this season, when he shot 1-for-14 from the field.
The Pacers have now won back-to-back games and have several days to prepare for their next game, which will come Saturday in Dallas against the Mavericks.
