Good Saturday morning! Daylight saving time begins tonight so we all lose an hour of sleep. Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed.
We are waking up to mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 40s. The clouds will stick with us today as moisture moves up from the south which will also lead to spotty showers starting mainly after noon.
Rain will become more widespread this evening and continue for most of Sunday. You may even hear a few rumbles of thunder overnight but we are not expecting any severe storms.
Heavy downpours are possible with any thunderstorms that develop, otherwise it will mainly be light to moderate rain showers. Some areas could see up to an inch of rain by midnight Monday morning.
Even though it will be a grey day our temperatures will remain mild in the low to mid 60s.
We will continue to enjoy April level warmth until midweek when a front moves in returning our temperatures to seasonal averages. You will want to keep the umbrellas handy this week, even though we will see plenty of dry time in between showers there are daily rain chances.
