ELIZABETH, Ind. (March 14, 2016) – A young boy from Indiana got to live out his dream of being a professional baseball player.

Last Monday, Landis Sims, 10, signed a real contract for REAL money, and he became a New York Yankee for a day, according to WAVE.

He even had lunch with A-Rod! "It was like a dream come true,” Sims told WAVE. Even though it was the experience of a lifetime for Sims, the Yankee players say the 10-year-old was the one teaching them lessons.

They asked him, "Landis is there anything that you can't do?"

Sims was born with congenital limb differences, and he doesn’t have hands or feet.

But that doesn’t stop him from being fearless in everything he does.

"He truly believes he is whole and perfect just the way that he is,” said Amanda Haag, Sims' mom. "Landis is more about wanting to show kids what he can do, he's not about complaining."

Sims says he can't wait to one day play for the New York Yankees again! "Don't give up. Keep trying at it."
