BAY VILLAGE, Ohio (March 14, 2016) -- A 23-year-old Ohio woman was learning how to drive when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending the car off a cliff, according to WJW.

The car fell 30 feet into some trees. The driver and her mother suffered only minor injuries, WJW reported. The woman has a temporary permit but not a license.

The car was a total loss, and no citations were issued as a result of the crash.
