Columbus woman arrested on charges related to meth, heroin

COLUMBUS, Ind. (March 14, 2016) — A Columbus woman is facing multiple drug charges after police found several illegal drugs and drug-related items in her home.

Columbus police were called to the home in the 1600 block of Union Street around 9 p.m. Friday, to assist Community Corrections with a home visit.

During their investigation, police found drugs and paraphernalia and said they belonged to resident Amanda Sedam, 29.

Sedam was arrested and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where she was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a synthetic drug and possession of paraphernalia.
