IMPD identifies suspect in far east side fatal shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 14, 2016)– The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) identified a suspect Monday in a fatal shooting on the far east side.

Police are searching for Marcus Crowdus, 23, of Indianapolis, in connection with the death of Ramon Carver, 26.

The shooting took place on March 10 around 9:45 p.m. in the 3000 block of Bavarian East Drive, near the intersection of East 30th Street and North Mitthoeffer Road.

Police describe the suspect as 5’7″, 230 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS
