INDIANAPOLIS (March 14, 2016) — The goal is to navigate the road to Indianapolis.  As of tonight, the 64 teams with an opportunity to do that are known.

The NCAA Women’s Tournament bracket has been released.  The top seeds are populated by familiar names.  Notre Dame, Connecticut, Baylor and South Carolina are on the coveted one-line.

Central Indiana will be well represented.  Indiana returns to the Big Dance for the first time since 2002.  The Hoosiers earned a 9-seed, which pairs them with 8-seed Georgia.  The game will be played Saturday night (9 p.m.) in South Bend.  Should the Hoosiers win, they’d almost certainly face the Irish.

Purdue is an 11-seed and will play 6-seed Oklahoma Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky.  The game tips off at 1:30 p.m.

Who will find their way to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 5?  The answers will be revealed over the next three and-a-half weeks.
