Person stabbed on near east side

INDIANAPOLIS (March 16, 2016) – Police are on the scene of an early morning stabbing on the city’s near east side.

Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of South Kealing Avenue near the intersection of Prospect Street and South Sherman Drive just after 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

When they arrived on scene, officers found a person stabbed.

Police say the victim was conscious and alert when transported to the hospital.

At this point, no suspect information has been released.
