Two juveniles arrested after armed robbery at near northwest side Burger King

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 16, 2016)– Two juveniles were arrested Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery at a Burger King on the near northwest side of Indianapolis.

Police were called to the restaurant located in the 3400 block of West 16th Street just after 12:30 a.m. on reports of an armed robbery.

Three male suspects had been seen fleeing the scene on foot and getting into a car. Officers stopped the car around 12:40 a.m. in the 3400 block of Lafayette Road. One suspect fled from the car.

Three females and two males inside the car were detained.

The two male juveniles were arrested after being identified through surveillance video and witness statements. The three females were released after being interviewed.

IMPD seized an airsoft gun that looked like a real firearm.
