(March 20, 2016) — Two Indiana high school basketball teams have rescheduled their semi-state game for Wednesday after a bus carrying one of the teams crashed over the weekend.

Griffith and Marion will play their Class 3A game Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Lafayette Jefferson High School, according to the IHSAA.

The teams were supposed to play Saturday, but the bus carrying Griffith High School players crashed around 12:30 p.m. on I-65 in Jasper County.

Investigators said a woman who spilled her drink sideswiped the bus, causing Saturday’s crash. State police said injuries suffered in the crash were non-life-threatening, although one coach was airlifted to University of Chicago Hospital.
