INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 22, 2016) – An Indianapolis woman is turning 107-years-old today, and she has one simple request – birthday cards!

Hilda Benson was born in 1909, and the Altenheim Exceptional Senior Living Community wants to help her celebrate with a birthday card!

The senior living center is asking everyone from around the state to send her a card.

You can drop the card off at Altenheim or you can mail it to Hilda Benson 3525 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46237.

Additionally, the community is holding a birthday party for her at 11 a.m. in the community's Solarium, and all are welcome to attend. There will be 107 cupcakes and refreshments, and Beech Grove Mayor Dennis Buckley will attend the party and present a proclamation in Benson's honor.
