One dead in crash on near south side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 22, 2016)– One male is dead after a crash Tuesday on the near south side of Indianapolis.

Officers responded to the crash at South West Street and West Morris Street just after 10 p.m.

Police say an Oldsmobile was traveling west on Morris Street and a Jeep was traveling south on West Street.

The Jeep t-boned the Oldsmobile killing the passenger. The drivers of the Jeep and Oldsmobile were transported to Eskenazi. There conditions are unknown at this time.

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
