UPDATE – The case was dismissed on 6/16/2017 due to a lack of witness cooperation.

Original Story:

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 22, 2016) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrested a man in connection with a February murder.

Homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Junious Jackson, 20, on March 18. He was wanted for the murder of Rozzell Moore, 67, on Feb. 21. Moore was shot while getting out of his car in the 3700 block of North Keystone Avenue; investigators believe he may have been shot during an attempted robbery.

The IMPD Violent Crimes Unit and Gang Unit located and arrested Jackson Monday on a pair of warrants for murder and theft. He was taken to the Arrestee Processing Center.

IMPD said tips from the community helped lead them to Jackson.
