INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 22, 2016)--Good Tuesday afternoon. We've had a mix of sun and clouds today with strong winds gusting to 30 mph at the 2 p.m. hour. Wind gusts to 30 mph will continue overnight and through the day Wednesday.
Clouds will build in tonight with lows only near 50 degrees. Expect a cloudy sky Wednesday with a chance of sprinkles or showers through the day.
A cold front will move through the area on Thursday and bring widespread rainfall and t-storms to central Indiana. Here's a look at what the radar may look like early Thursday morning. Some storms may be strong and produce a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall. Winds will still be strong with gusts to 40 mph on Thursday. Rainfall amounts of up to 1 inch are possible, especially in t-storms.
We'll be colder Friday with lows in the low 30s and highs near 50 degrees. However, the cold is short-lived as highs bounce back to the low 60s for Easter weekend! Expect a chance of showers Sunday and Monday of next week. --Danielle Dozier
