SUNDAY'S WARMTH IS LONG GONE

A new chill in the air tonight. In the wake of last night's storms and a passing cold front temps have tumbled! Down nearly 30 degrees from 4 pm  Sunday and a May like feel,  It feels more like early March Monday and it will get cold overnight.

Sunday topped the 70° mark, the warmest of 2016 and it was the 21st time this year we reached 60° or warmer. Only two other years have produced that many 60 degrees days so early in the year on record. 2012 (23 days) and 1976 (22 days). Weather records date back for 145 years.

FROSTY TUESDAY MORNING

A frosty night ahead with clearing skies and temps dropping into the middle 30s in the city and certainly colder outlying. The chill will be brief with a real nice rebound coming by Tuesday afternoon.
