Fire at Gray Bros. Cafeteria possibly caused by lightning

MOORESVILLE, Ind. (March 28, 2016) – Investigators are trying to determine whether lightning started a fire at Gray Brothers Cafeteria in Mooresville Sunday night.

According to the Mooresville Fire Department, the fire broke out in the attic of the restaurant around 11:15 p.m.

The fire was contained to an air handler in the attic, and it was downgraded within the first 15 minutes

There were no injuries reported in the fire. Investigators are trying to determine whether lightning caused the fire.

Despite the fire, the restaurant is still open today!
