Virginia man arrested in Daviess County after going more than 100 mph on I-69

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (March 28, 2016)– Indiana State Police say a Virginia man was arrested after traveling more than 100 miles per hour on I-69.

Police say Gregory Kellman Jr., 19, was clocked at 114 mph at 5:41 p.m. as he traveled southbound on I-69 near the Washington exit in a blue 2007 Mazda SUV.

The trooper who clocked Kellmen called ahead to another trooper, who allegedly observed the suspect going 85 mph.

Kellman was arresed and charged with reckless driving. The speed limit in the area is 70 mph.

He was transported to the Daviess County Security center.
