Woman arrested after deputy allegedly finds marijuana in Babies”R”Us bag

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (April 3, 2016) – A woman was arrested Friday afternoon after a sheriff’s deputy says he found controlled substances throughout her car during a traffic stop.

The deputy stopped Nicole Irwin around 1 p.m. near State Road 37 and Stones Crossing Road.

The deputy identified Irwin as a wanted subject out of Montgomery County for several felony counts. When a warrant was confirmed, the deputy placed Irwin in his cruiser and began an inventory of her car before impounding it.

The deputy found an orange medication bottle containing 115 Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone pills, a schedule two controlled substance. Next to the bottle of pills, the deputy found 56.3 grams of marijuana in a Babies”R”Us bag. The deputy also found Vyvance pills and Suboxone film in a separate bag, both of which are controlled substances.

The deputy ran an inspect report and found that Irwin didn’t have any prescriptions to any of the drugs found.

Iwrin was taken to Johnson County Jail. She’s facing several charges of possession of a controlled substances.
