Home raided on April 13, 2016

FRANKLIN, Ind. (April 13, 2016) – The FBI is conducting two investigations in Franklin and one investigation in Indianapolis. The nature of these investigations is unknown at this time, but the FBI confirms that all three investigations are related.

One of the investigations was conducted Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of Southpointe Drive. Neighbors said the family that lived at the home ran a small business transporting senior citizens. Witnesses saw boxes  of records being taken out of the home.

A spokeswoman for the FBI confirmed the raids but wouldn’t specify what led to them. Neither the Franklin Police Department nor the Johnson County’s Sheriff’s Office had any information to release about the operation.
