LEBANON, Ind. (April 15, 2016) – An Indiana man emerged as the big winner on an episode of “The Price Is Right” that aired this week.

Tyler Everett, 25, appeared on the game show Tuesday. He won a trip to Barbados during the “Range Game” pricing game. Family and friends celebrated the win with a watch party at Buffalo Wild Wings in Lebanon.

“It was just unbelievable,” Everett said about his appearance on the show. “I’ve wanted to see the show and I just thought it was the coolest thing ever!”

Everett went to the game show during a family vacation back in January. Tuesday’s episode was taped three months ago.

“It’s been three months since then just building up to seeing the show,” he said. “It’s been a long time coming.”

He said he certainly didn’t expect to actually appear as a contestant.

“It was definitely a surprise (when they called my name),” he said. “We got there at 7:30 in the morning and we didn’t leave until probably 1:30 or 2 in the afternoon.”

He won the Showcase, which included a trip to Switzerland and a Ford Fiesta.

“I remembered I had to pay taxes on all of that. That’s what got me,” Everett said. “Hey, it’s all right. I get to go to Barbados and Switzerland and (I won) a new car.”
